Meet Dr. Kiguradze

Dr. Kate Kiguradze is a board-certified pediatric dentist and the founder of Darien Pediatric Dentistry. Originally from Tbilisi, Georgia, she earned her first dental degree from Tbilisi State Medical University, followed by general practice residency training at the Georgian-German dental clinic Unident-Ross.

After moving to the United States with her family, Dr. Kate earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2006. She then completed a general practice residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in 2007, followed by a two-year specialty residency in pediatric dentistry also at Montefiore.

As both a pediatric dentist and a mother, Dr. Kate understands how important it is for children and parents to feel comfortable, supported, and well cared for. She is committed to creating a warm, welcoming dental home for infants, children, and adolescents, and she believes in a thoughtful, conservative approach to treatment. Her goal is to provide the highest quality care while treating every child with the same attention and compassion she would want for her own.

Dr. Kate also holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She previously served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dentistry at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in the Section of Population Oral Health, and before that, she was a clinical faculty member at the Yale New Haven Hospital pediatric dental residency program.

Dr. Kiguradze is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a recipient of Richard Pugh Achievement Award for outstanding performance on the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry qualifying examination.
